This engaging interactive empowering 8 session course is designed to help teenagers discover how stress is affecting their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Throughout this course, you will learn how to regulate your emotions; remove emotional/mental blockages; let go of the past & live in the now; restore your balance, self-love, joy, positivity & productivity; learn meditation and mindfulness techniques. This course is divided into three stages: Discovering your stressors, Reframing your thoughts, and Working through your emotions in a way that helps you to cope, manage and respond to stress rather than reacting to it. You will be capable of dealing with overwhelming day to day matters that frustrate teenagers at school, home and with friends and family. This course relies on Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as Emotional Freedom Therapeutic Techniques.
